Inspired by Peter Schilling’s Major Tom, this project seeks to mimic a child’s drawing illustration style. The approach utilizes pencil digital brushes, simple shapes and rough colouring style. The animation focuses on instruments, particularly the electric guitar, which is reflected in the intentionally choppy flow of frames. As the music (press unmute) progresses towards the chorus, the frames evolve in complexity, incorporating vibrant colors, intricate illustrations, and dynamic movements.

In the project, through ideation, storyboarding and frame-by-frame creation, I refined my storytelling skills and also improved my understanding of movement within a visual narrative.
